A recap of Temple move-in and Weeks of Welcome 2024
A fresh batch of Owls were all smiles when Temple University’s Class of 2028 officially moved onto campus in August. Families at Temple experienced a wide range of emotions and enthusiasm on move-in day, which began with students unloading cars and setting up dorm rooms before bidding their loved ones farewell.
As first-year and transfer students from a variety of diverse backgrounds begin their quest to become Temple Made, their priorities includes making friends, getting to know campus culture and learning to utilize university resources. New Owls experienced the ultimate crash course for navigating campus life by participating in Weeks of Welcome activities, including Convocation, TempleFest and more.
Here is a snapshot of some of the memorable moments from this year’s festivities, including move-in, TUPalooza, and the meeting of the minds between Hooter the Owl and Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty.
